Health and Safety Plan Update Addendum of changes
regarding quarantine times for positive case:
A student with a positive test result will be required to quarantine 5 full days with Day 1 beginning the day after the positive test. They may be tested on day 5 and return on day 6 with a negative test and no symptoms. We will ask that the student mask for 10 days post positive test. If a student tests positive on day 5 they may not return to school until they achieve a negative test.
When questioning whether a student should be tested for COVID the below guidelines should be followed.
A student should be tested if they have:
Two of the follwing symptoms: fever, chills, fatigue, body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion or running nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
or
One of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or new loss of taste or smell
