During ELA the students will also participate in vocabulary and grammar. Both vocabulary and grammar will be assessed by quizzes and test. It is the responsibility of the student to review the material and study a little each night before the day of the test. Adequate time is given for students to prepare. It is the responsibility of the student to review for the tests.
I highly recommend the students taking time to read a book of choice each day for about 20 minutes. Reading helps build vocabulary and it helps to review the reading strategies that we are working on in class.Science
