Hello! My name is Lauren Tate. I grew up in a little town in South Jersey, right near the beach. My town is so small we only had three traffic lights and could ride our bikes everywhere! I made my way to Pennsylvania after college, which is where my husband is from. We lived in Bucks County for about 10 years, and we now live in Gilbertsville. We have three kids who are all students here at STC. We love being a part of the school and parish community!

This is my second year teaching 6th grade at STC. I graduated from the University of Delaware and earned my M.Ed from Arcadia University. I previously taught in public school in Bucks County before being fortunate enough to stay home with my kids. I wouldn’t change a minute of my time home, but it has been great to be back in the classroom!

I’m very passionate about nutrition and exercise. I love learning about all things macros and weight lifting! I am a proud marathoner, and love when I can fit in time for a long run.

My other interests include spending time with my family, reading (memoirs are my favorite), the beach, plants (both houseplants and outdoor gardening), traveling, and all things Disney.
